In over 12 years I have planned hundreds of weddings in Italy. Each destination wedding Italy is special and unique and some of them had something even more peculiar, sometimes unusual that I would like to share with whoever is planning a wedding in Italy.
Italy weddings are always a gorgeous mix of many things, spectacular scenarios, delicious food, great dancing parties and the fact of being a destination wedding in Italy makes it an unforgettable experience per se.
First of all I met Judith & Harald about 15 months before their wedding. We visited together a lot of potential venues, they also considered to get married by lake Como and another Italian Lake. It was the early stage of the wedding planning process but I knew that it would have been a great event!
They were looking for a venue with big outdoor spaces and beautiful surrounding nature.
So for that reason the bride and groom picked the Castello di Meleto, a gorgeous wedding venue for getting married in Italy.
Thanks to Judith and Harald friendly and cooperative attitude the planning process was smooth.
We easily got to the wedding weekend with a lot of excitement to see the making of what we had planned together.
That was only the beginning of an exciting wedding weekend. Just to get started and ready for the wedding day!
Around noon Harald and Judith hosted a fantastic pool party with a full bar, appetizers and the unbelievable backdrop view of the Tuscan countryiside.
Planning a ceremony in Italy can be tricky if you decide to get legally married in our country. Of course is part of what Italian wedding planners can assist you with, but a symbolic ceremony is always the easiest way to go. Wherever you will get married, from Amalfi coast to Italian riviera.
It was one of the most beautiful and touching symbolic ceremonies I ever seen. Many friends and family members contributed with readings and personal speeches to make the ceremony unique.
At the end of the ceremony a beautiful sunny august sky suddenly became dark and cloudy. A storm came In the middle of the cocktail hour pouring rain on the beautiful and colorful tables that we set.
Judith, Harald, and all the guests attitude made the day even more special, the rain didn’t stop them enjoying such a beautiful day and when finally the rain stopped, and a beautiful starry night came out.
Castello di Meleto is certainly one of the best wedding for a perfect wedding in Tuscany.
The authenticity of the medieval building and the friendly staff make it perfect for any type of event from a small and intimate vows renewal to complex luxury weddings with many guests.
The staff of La Buona Tavola Ricevimenti prepared a genuine and authentic Italian wedding menu with a lot of delicious food and great wines produced in the cellars of the castle.
Nicola and the Eventi in Bar staff made the whole day special with their cocktails and vintage style bar setting.
Stiatti Fiorifloral decoration were colorful and so pretty.
The band, Fix the Musicwas fantastic, they played for hours and everyone danced all night long!
It has been a pleasure helping Judith and Harald to plan their wedding in Tuscany and I will always remember their wedding like one of the most special I ever planned.
